Overview

StackDose is an iPhone-first wellness tracking tool for logging your stack, reminders, label scans, and educational coaching. StackDose is a wellness tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider.

Data stored on your device

Your stack entries, logs, notes, reminders, measurements, progress photos, and app settings are stored locally on your device. StackDose does not require an account for the app experience, and none of your health or dose data is stored on StackDose servers (the narrow service records used for usage limits and optional referral codes are described in their sections below). You can export your full history at any time as a JSON file from Settings (Export My Data); the export is generated on your device and shared only where you choose.

AI requests

When you use the AI coach, the app sends your message and a summary of your in-app activity needed to answer: your compounds, doses, schedule, injection sites, adherence, weight trend, and the side-effect tags you logged, plus your language and subscription status, with anonymous service identifiers. This is disclosed in the app before first use. Your free-text notes, progress photos, and personal identity are never sent. For label scans, the label text or image is sent for that request only. Requests are processed by our processor, Anthropic, and are not stored by the StackDose worker; the worker keeps only counters needed for usage limits, budget controls, and abuse prevention.

Subscriptions

Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. StackDose does not receive or store your full payment card details.

If you enter a referral or invite code, that code is stored with your subscription record (via RevenueCat) so we can credit the person who shared it and, where the code offers one, apply your free period. To make codes work, our service also keeps a one-way hash of an install identifier (so a code can only be applied once per device) and, for the person who shared a code, anonymous counts and payment totals used to credit them. If you create an invite code, it is linked to your anonymous subscription identifier so your reward can be applied. Codes are optional; none of this includes your dose history or any health data.

Analytics

StackDose may use privacy-preserving product analytics such as TelemetryDeck to understand crashes, feature usage, and onboarding performance. We do not use advertising SDKs in the initial release.

Security

The backend worker uses anonymous identifiers, hashed device identifiers in logs, request caps, and server-side secrets. No raw API keys are stored in the app repository.
